Announced in 2021, the Amazon MGM Studios series went through a long, worrying period of standby, but nevertheless, it was never declared dead. And in fact, Variety confirmed that the TV series is more alive than ever. The famous source reported that Amazon has made the development of Mass Effect official with Daniel Casey engaged as both a screenwriter and a producer. In addition, Karim Zreik will be an executive producer under his Cedar Tree Productions banner, with Ari Arad and Michael Gamble of EA also executive producers. Other details are currently being kept under wraps.

Casey recently worked on the screenplay for Fast 9 but is also known for rewriting that of 10 Cloverfield Lane. Zreik, on the other hand, was a senior executive at Marvel Television (the television company later merged with Marvel Studios); under his supervision, hits such as Daredevil, The Punisher, and Jessica Jones were made. Arad's name is instead linked to many of the recent and past successes of Hollywood that count such as Iron Man, Ghost in the Shell, and Uncharted.

Mass Effect | Brief on the Game

[via Wikipedia] The first chapter of the video game saga was released by BioWare and Electronic Arts to rave reviews in 2007. Three sequels were subsequently made that placed the Mass Effect brand on the lips of all insiders. The latest chapter "Andromeda" was released in 2017. Several mobile games, animated films, novels, comics, and other media have also been made. A fifth chapter is currently in the works. The story of the first chapters of the games revolves around Commander Shepard, a human soldier in the 22nd century who tries to save humanity from a race of aliens known as the Reapers. "Andromeda" moved the games much further into the future with a new protagonist.
