Outer Banks Season 4 Part 2 has debuted a new trailer that focuses on the Pogues and their treasure-hunting trip to Morroco. Split into two halves, each with five episodes, the fourth installment of the popular teen drama saw the Pogues on a quest to find Blackbeard’s treasure. This quest also led to some major revelations, with JJ learning a shocking revelation in the Outer Banks Season 4 Part 1 finale.

Netflix has now released the trailer for Outer Banks Season 4 Part 2, with the remaining five episodes set to drop on November 7. The two-minute preview shows JJ, John B (Chase Stokes), Sarah (Madelyn Cline), Kiara (Madison Bailey), JJ (Rudy Pankow), Pope (Jonathan Daviss), Cleo (Carlacia Grant), and Rafe (Drew Starkey) setting off on a new adventure. But as is often the case with the Pogues, tension, and danger complicate their search for treasure in Morroco. Watch the trailer below:

What the Outer Banks Season 4 Trailer Reveals

The story seemed promising in the first half of Outer Banks Season 4. The Pogues had started a new business, Poguelandia, but their feud with the Kooks threatened that sense of tranquility. The latest trailer confirms that things aren’t looking up, with a town meeting that ends with broken windows. The one causing the chaos is JJ, who was likely affected by the revelation of his biological father’s true identity.

As their fortunes change once again, the Pogues are out of money and find themselves targeted by killers. They’re looking for the Blue Crown, which is located in Morroco, and the trailer features several scenes where the characters brave the heat to reach the proverbial gold. Rafe is also involved, offering to take the Pogues to North Africa for a fee. But despite some fights and fisticuffs between Rafe and JJ, the treasure hunt continues as the Outer Banks characters head to a new location.

The Verdict on the New Outer Banks Season 4 Trailer

Outer Banks has not yet confirmed a fifth season. However, in an interview with Netflix’s Tudum, co-creator Josh Pate confirmed plans for more seasons. Pate said in part, “We think of the first three [seasons] as a trilogy, and then we’re starting over now with [another sort of] trilogy.” This would indicate hope for not only a fifth season but potentially a sixth. The trailer is an encouraging sign, showing a keen understanding of what makes the treasure-hunting drama so popular with its audience.
